On Saturday August 22, the 30th annual Susan Alberti Medical Research Foundation Signature Ball was held at Melbourne’s Crown Towers. For 30 years, founder Susan Alberti has raised millions of dollars for the better treatment, prevention and possible cure of Type 1 diabetes. Three Melbourne medical research institutes will benefit from money raised at this year’s event. Key note speaker on the night was the Foreign Minister of Australia, Hon Julie Bishop MP, who is pictured here with renowned entertainer Tina Arena, who performed on the night and Susan Alberti.

Invited VIPs and Piaget Brand Ambassador Jessica Chastain graced the recent grand opening of Piaget first ever boutique in the heart of Milan’s fashion district. Spreading out over 250 square meters on two levels, the new boutique houses a contemporary setting where fine Italian craftsmanship and elegance meet. An impressive yet exclusive stylized rose measuring 3.5 meters with a reference to the Piaget rose carefully crafted by the finest Venetian master glassmaker stands tall in the boutique welcoming guests to discover the world of Piaget. During the opening, Piaget CEO Philippe Léopold-Metzger said that the opening of this Piaget boutique is a symbol of elegance and prestige throughout the world and an important milestone in the Maison’s 140-year history. He further added that it was also a sign of Piaget long history with Italy where expertise and excellence are brought to an audience that truly understands bold designs, artistic virtuosity and unexpected innovations.
