Parade that stopped a city 让城市停驻的巡游

Tens of thousands lined the streets to watch the procession down Melbourne’s central thoroughfare to see Lord Mayor Robert Doyle and VRC Chairman Michael Burn arrive with the $175,000 18 carat gold Emirates Melbourne Cup .

Connections of the 11 international horses vying for glory in the Emirates Melbourne Cup were overwhelmed by the public show of support.

Instead of the usual trams, it was Living Legends including Might And Power, Brew, Rogan Josh, and Efficient, primary school children dressed in jockey silks, Emirates cabin crew, and a host of dancers and musical performers travelling down Swanston Street.

The popular Birdcage Enclosure was home to a host of celebrities including international guest of the VRC and Emirates, Lady Kitty Spencer, Lleyton and Bec Hewitt and Ricky Ponting at Swisse, Jennifer Hawkins and Kris Smith in the Myer marquee, and French DJ David Guetta at G.H. Mumm.

One of the world’s top luxury watch brand Audemars Piguet celebrated the launch of its new Millinery collection for women in Paris and at the same time welcoming actress and women’s rights advocator Frieda Pinto as its new ambassador. More than 200 guests attended an impressive dinner at the Carreau du Temple in Le Marais. Among the elites were Asia Pacific superstar Michele Reis, socialite Olivia Palermo, British model Jourdan Dunn, actress Audrey Tautou, designer Elie Saab, actor Omar Sy, model and socialite Caroline de Maigret…A night of exception for Audemars Piguet who is honouring its tagline –“There are Exceptions to Every Rule.”

ROLLS-ROYCE CELEBRATES 复古盛会

Invited VIPs, customers, potentials and tens of thousands of visitors witnessed the world’s most popular historic motor race and were entertained by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars when celebrating a record Goodwood Revival over a weekend. The manufacturer of super-luxury cars was represented on the Motor Circuit throughout the event by a stunning 1954 Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn Drophead Coupe by Park Ward. This rare automobile was on loan from a proud owner and it is one of the 28 that was built and only eight to feature ‘high line’ wing styling. On the other hand, a ‘new’ Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud was on display in the ‘Finishing Shop’ and guests departing the Revival were later returned to current day in contemporary luxury when being conveyed in exquisite Rolls-Royce Phantom, Ghost and Wraith motor cars.
