This year Paris joined the family as the first European foray of the Hong Kong–based hotel group. Situated at 19 Avenue Kléber, The Peninsula Paris was revamped from the former Hotel Majestic – one of the most glamorous belle époque buildings in city. With celebrities Zhang Ziyi and Jean-Pierre Marielle at the opening inauguration, marked the hotel’s grand entrance into Europe.
