Motorclassica recently organised its eighth year at Melbourne’s Royal Exhibition Building showcasing Australia’s premier classic and collector car exhibition. Motorclassica 2017 played host to ever-popular features such as the Australian International Concours D’Elegance, the daily Club Sandwich car club displays, the VIP Lounge for entrants and special guests, and the Saturday evening Classic Car Auction, conducted this year for the first time by Mossgreen. While the cars convoy was led by the Holden concept car EFIJY, the first time the vehicle has taken to the roads, the event also saw the celebration of Ferrari’s 70th Anniversary, one of only a few selected number of global events officially supported and sanctioned by the Ferrari factory in Maranello, Italy. Mercedes-Benz fans were treated to a show of AMG GT R, E 63 s 4MATIC+ and C 36 AMG, plus the brand’s most recent model – the new E-Class Cabriolet.
